Are Our Pets Being Treated Fairly in the Justice System

Final Project

     For the final project I wanted to analyze the relationship between four-legged death roll inmates and two-legged ones. I am using footage I took myself, footage from YouTube, and some free access sound effects. In the first part there is a peaceful backyard scene featuring my dog Valentine and the outside animals in my yard. This is signaled by bird sound effects from the internet and mixed in Adobe Audition CC 2018 to create a more peaceful ambiance. It slowly gets darker with footage from death road dogs and footage of human inmates. Dogs bark angry and growl in these scenes. The final part shows angry spirit animals that have not rested peacefully in heaven.

The inspiration for this video

     I am bother by how well human inmates on death road verses how animals are treated on death road. Humans get a trial before the death road verdict is said, animals do not. Animals are seemly automatically sentence to death if they attack someone. There is no trial. Sometimes animals are sentence to death for the very fact that they are alive and take up space. These animals have no voice to defend them. Animals are sometimes put to death  by accident. Animals do not get a last meal of their choice like their human counterpart. One sad fact is that sometimes animals don't understand why they need to go over the rainbow bridge. Why are humans deciding their fates?
